Dollar versus Rupee:

As we predicted in our last report that the national currency would remain in the positive territory thus rupee recovered 0.05 paisas against the greenback in the currency exchange market this week. On Friday, the national currency was trading at Rs.85.05 for buying and Rs.85. 45 for selling amid decline in its demand. However, on Monday, the greenback was changing hands at Rs.85.05 for buying and Rs.85.50 for selling.

No change was seen in the price of US dollar amid lack of demand of US currency in the currency exchange market today. The American dollar kicked off new day’s trading at Rs.85.90 for buying and Rs.86.10 for selling, did not show any change and ended the day at the same price at close of markets on Thursday. Thus, rupee ended the day on a positive note versus dollar in the forex rate market.

The greenback soared against rupee amid rise in its demand in the currency exchange market. Due to holiday on Tuesday thus buyers and sellers rushed to the market to fulfill their needs. The US dollar commenced new day’s trading at Rs.85.10 for buying and Rs.85.50 for selling on Monday, scored major gains amid demand high and was trading at Rs.85.90 for buying and Rs.86.10 for selling at close of markets on Wednesday.

Rupee staged strong comeback against greenback amid decline in dollar’s demand in the currency exchange market this week. The American dollar kicked off new day’s trading at Rs.85.90 for buying and Rs.86.20 for selling, shed major grounds and was changing hands at Rs.85.35 for buying and Rs.85.65 for selling at close of markets on Friday. Thus, rupee recovered 0.55 paisas versus dollar in the forex rate market.
