Rupee down against Euro and UAE Dharam, recovers versus Pound, unchanged versus dollar

Rupee down versus dollar and UAE Dharam

Demand of US dollar remained on the decline in the local currency exchange market. Moreover, rupee did not show any movement against dollar. The US greenback opened trading at Rs.85.25, remained motionless and ended the day at the same price at close of markets on Thursday.

The cable gave up major grounds versus rupee amid sharp decline in Pound’s demand on the local desk. Pound Sterling kicked off new day’s trading at Rs .125.30, incurred major losses amid decline in its demand and was changing hands at Rs.125.00 at close of markets. Thus, rupee recovered 0.30 paisas versus the Pound.

Rupee makes comeback versus dollar and UAE DharamRupee made a comeback versus greenback in the kerb dealings today amid decline in dollar’s demand. The US currency commenced new day’s trading at Rs.85/25, shed mere grounds and was changing hands at Rs.85.20 at close of markets on Wednesday. Thus, rupee made recovery of 0.05 paisas versus dollar in the kerb dealings.

Demand of the cable soared significantly as rupee lost Rs.1.30 in Wednesday’s trading. The British currency opened trading at Rs.124.00, posted major gains on the local desk and was trading at Rs125.30 on Wednesday. Thus, rupee ended the day on a negative note versus Pound Sterling.

Demand from importers pushed rupee on back foot in the local currency exchange market. The greenback started off week’s trading at its overnight closing forex rate of Rs.85/10, rose significantly amid demand high and was changing hands at Rs.85/25 at close of markets. Overall, rupee lost 0/15 paisas versus the US dollar in the kerb dealings.

The cable continued to rise in the local currency exchange market today amid continuous increase in its demand. The British Pound set off new day’s trading at Rs.123/10, made recovery on the local desk and was changing hands at Rs. 124/00 at close of markets on Tuesday. Thus, rupee gave up 0/90 paisas versus the British currency.

Demand of US currency continued to rise in fresh week trading in the forex exchange market. Thus, rupee lost 0/15 paisas versus greenback on the local desk. The US currency commenced fresh week’s trading at Rs.84/95, posted gains amid hike in dollar’s demand and dollar was being traded at Rs.85/10 at close of markets on Monday.

Due to lack of demand of Pound sterling, rupee made a significant comeback in the currency exchange market. The cable opened new day’s trading at Rs.123/80, incurred losses on the local desk and was changing hands at Rs.123/10 on Monday. Thus, rupee recovered 0/70 paisas versus the British currency.
